Collecting State Quarters
January 14, 2008
Back in 1998, quarters in America were primarily the same every year. The following year quarters representing a single state were being produced, in order of when they became a state- which is why Arizona does not have a quarter yet- up until now that is. This year, 2008, marks the last year new state quarters will be made. For almost the last ten years, it has been a personal hobby of mine collecting these quarters.

Can’t wait for Arizona. My personal favorite ^_^
While it is not so easy trying to track down every single quarter, luckily there are a few options for me to find them. If you have someone that works in a store, many quarters are sure to be found there- so you could always ask if they have a specific quarter. The bank is also another good option. But for the most part you have to keep your eyes open for them, because you never know when they will pop up.

I store my quarters on a map of United States, as shown in the picture.
I am certainly going to miss this hobby…
Do you collect state quarters? Have a favorite state coin?
