Developed by Arika, and published by Mastiff (also known for Pump It Up), Technic Beat is a funny quirky music game that came out on the Playstation 2 back in November 2002.

I recently purchased this game for a mere few dollars (new) and I was pleasently surprised by its soundtrack (over 70 songs, many of which are remixes to classic games, such as Dig Dug.

The gameplay consists of timing “rings”, and hitting the button to the rhythm. Catch is you also have to move around on the stage to hit the rings, which becomes frantic fun, especially when playing with a friend.

For a few dollars, the game is tons of fun, and for those who like music rhythm games, I recommend checking this game out : )
