The HappyCube [#8] |”Time Cube”|

Hi! Welcome to another addition of HappyCube, which involves my friend Alicia (Happy) and I (Cube) discussing about a suggested topic. Last time we talked about creating our own DDR game. Today’s topic is:

If you could live in any time period, which years would you pick, and why?

For this interesting choice, I decided I would rather live in the old days. Like the way old days – going back in time. I would want to live in the time when the Bible was given to the Jewish people so I would know if it is true or not. The life I live is based on us receiving it, and I would loved to have experienced it so I would know my faith is true.

I would miss many things if I lived in those days (which was about 1313 BCE.) I would miss cold drinks, Slurpees, Ice Cream, Video Games, Television – but life back then was much simpler.

I would certainly miss my friends that I have now, but I have a feeling that I would see them no matter what lifetime I lived in. If I had my friends with me during that time period, it would pretty nice. We could talk and go riding on animals around places – plus eat that elusive ‘Mana’ which was food that fell from the sky that tasted like anything we wanted it to.

If I lived in that time period life would not be so hard, as the amount of options available were much more limited back then. I forsee that as time progresses into the future, society will become worse… so I would rather live in the older days than newer. But for now, I will settle for the present time, as that’s what I was born into and this is my life to figure out : )
