Movie Spotlight: Everything Must Go

I did not know much about this film when deciding to see it tonight at the theaters. Taking place in Arizona (which is beautifully shot), Will Ferrell plays Nick Halsey, a man who just got fired from his job for drinking and he comes home to his belongings thrown across the lawn, unable to go into his house, as his wife has changed the locks. He stays the next few days on the front lawn and makes some new friends (who are his neighbors).

There’s a lot more to the film, but what you can expect is great acting, a little bit of comedy, and a very touching story. Definitely a great film. It’s rated R because of a little cursing but don’t let that deter you from watching this unique movie. Actresses Rebecca Hall and Laura Dern also star – they should get an award or two!
