I have been living in South Florida since 2001, and I have been to over 30 restaurants – so it’s about time I posted a little article on my 3 favorite kosher restaurants in South Florida.

3. Shemtov’s Pizza

Address: 514 Nw 41st St, Miami, FL 33127

Located just a few miles away from the beach, Shemtov’s Pizza has been around for quite some time.

I always order french fries when I go there, because they have special french fries that contain a barbecue spice on it which is really good.

The pizza is usually amazing, and contains a decent menu.

The price are not too expensive either.

2. Grill Time

Address:16145 Biscayne Blvd (Bet. NE 161st & NE 162nd St.)
N. Miami Beach, FL 33160

Not too far away from Aventura, Grill Time is also located nearby Shalom Haifa Restaurant (which is also a good restaurant). They have a very good selection of foods.

Most of the time, its very crowded there, so you might want to reserve seats. It’s mainly meat products, but they have good side dishes like french fries, and battered onion rings! The prices are a bit expensive though.

1. Cine Citta Cafe

Address: 9544 Harding Avenue, Surfside, Florida (right near Bal Harbor Synagogue)

This restaurant is a bit expensive, but the food (if you love dairy/italian) is amazing! I’ve ordered many items from the menu and have never been disappointed.

I like the ambiance of the place, and who could say no to bruschettas?

They also have amazing pizza and a variety of delicious pastas and desserts.

For more information, check out their website, where they have a menu and other goodies available to look at.

My Top 10 Movies of 2008

December 30, 2008

2008 is drawing to a close, and it’s time for another year of my favorite top 10 movies that were released this year. Just to let you know, my favorite genres are: scary/horror, thriller, anime, drama, and action. I don’t really watch many comedy or romance films, so that’s why there won’t be many on the list.

While I have not seen every movie that interested me this year (as there are a few in theaters right now that seem really appealing), I highly doubt it will change my top 10 list of 2008. If in fact they do, I’ll be sure to update this article.
