For many years, I’ve been meaning to purchase this game that was released on the Playstation One many years ago.  I finally got around to purchasing it this week for $1 on Amazon.com. It arrived in the mail today, and I was excited to play it. Surprisingly, the game holds up quite well, as the game features many video clips from the show.

The same intensity and excitement is captured quite well, with up to 7 human players being able to play together. The host of the show, Anne Robinson is captured very well and makes the game very fun to play as her remarks are ingenious. The game is still quite fun playing by yourself as the computer players have their own personalities. Definitely one of the best games based on a tv game show ever created. The Weakest Link, Good Buy!

Cajole: to persuade by flattery or promises

I finally got the chance to watch this movie, I’ve been wanting to see it for a few years now. The film takes place in the late 1800’s during the Industrial Revolution when technology was coming into play. It’s interesting to see an anime film in this era as it’s a rare sight to see. The story focuses on a young boy who is told to keep safe in his possession a steamball of sorts, which has a lot of energy in it. He finds out that there is two sides to who wants this steamball.

What he uncovers is a disturbing sight and perhaps a sad but truthful look into politics. Filled with memorable scenes and enough action to keep you wondering what happens next, this film really shines because the voices (mainly of British accent) create a unique tone for the film that you won’t forget. Definitely check it out if you can!

This month just flew by. With all of the college work I’ve been doing, I have not had much time to play many video games, but I did manage to rent a few this month including: Groovin’ Blocks, Drawn to Life, Velvet Assassin, Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler’s Green, Rogue Trooper, Bionic Commando, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, Chaos Legion, Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix, and Scribblenauts. I really enjoyed Bionic Commando, it was fun swinging around and exploring the world.

I had the chance to be given access to the new Xbox Update a few weeks before its release in November. New features include applications for Facebook, Twitter, and Last.fm, as well as a new MSNBC and Comic section. These are all great additions to making the 360 a more “connective” experience.

Also in the preview is the new Zune Marketplace, which has two sections – one for music, and the other for movies. Now in the Zune Movie Marketplace, you can form a party and watch together if everyone has the content purchased.

Just released is the Halo Waypoint, a portal to showcase your achievements in the Halo games (sadly, Halo 2 PC is not among the games to be incorporated in this feature, but might have a possibility in being included if it becomes requested.)

The application also has many videos and other odds and ends to look at, like looking at your friends career progress in the Halo series.

All of these features are great and I can see gamers enjoying them. The only downside to these new features is many people in different regions may not be able to access these features, but hopefully they will all get their own exclusive features that will make them happy. For instance, those in the UK have an exclusive feature called Sky Player in which they can watch a lot of cable programs. It’s never been a better time to be a gamer. Thank you Microsoft for the opportunity.

This classic song from Kirby Super Star still gets stuck in my head! It was re-released for the Nintendo DS awhile back, I might have to pick it up…

So I’m part of this network called Twitter, it’s a site where people “tweet” about what’s going on. You can find different things to follow, such as news, video game deals, or just friends.

Well just recently, Twitter unleashed in beta form this new feature called “Lists”, which can help categorize the tweets from different profiles. I messed around with it for a bit and just got to confused with how I would micromanage all of the people I followed. I opted not to use this option but might try again in the future.

No matter where you live, brothers are brothers and sisters are sisters. The bonds that keep family close are the same no matter where you are.
