So sick and tired of Konami.

I can just sit idly by like 95% of the world, and not care about this, but I stand for integrity and truth.

I’m talking about Konami’s Dance Dance Revolution Universe games, which asks consumers to purchase downloadable content that’s already on the disc.

Things worsened when DDR Universe 3 was released, when the back of the cover featured songs that did not exist in the game. Popular songs that were, in many eyes, “not a misprint” but in fact a decoy to get consumers to purchase the game.

A few days ago, Konami released downloadable content for this game, and is asking consumers to re-pay for the DDR Universe and DDR Universe 2 megapacks in which we already purchased!

Not to mention the description is wrong with many of the songs, as other consumers mentioned when they downloaded a particular song they got something else instead.

Oh,and all of this content is located on the disc already too.

I don’t know why this garbage is happening, and why no one is doing anything about it. Konami needs to be more responsible. They are angering their fanbase!

This never happened with the DDR Ultramix games on the Original Xbox.

I’ve spent one too many hours on the phone with Microsoft and Konami, and I am hoping there is a resolution.

  1. Wow, that’s really crappy that they’ve turned that into a business model. I’m annoyed when anything is locked on a game (bonus levels, harder difficulty levels) even if I don’t have to pay to unlock them.

  3. JUJEE

One could always sue them for false advertising! I mean, the box DID list certain songs that were NOT even on the game! hmmm…… Konami makes me grumpy.
