Movie Spotlight: Slumdog Millionaire

I saw this movie last night in theaters, and wow what a rare kind of gem is this movie. Combining genres of action, drama, and romance, Slumdog manages to keep your eyes glued to the screen for two hours.

The movie stars three young children – Jamal, Salim, and Latika in which we see their characters develop overtime into mature adults. It’s a bit graphic at times (especially in the beginning) so I don’t recommend younger children too see this movie.

I don’t want to give any spoilers away, but it’s definitely a good movie to watch, if only to come out of the experience believing  more in fate and destiny.
