Top 5 Worst Gaming Accessories Purchased

I’ve purchased lots of gaming gear over the years, but these top five beat the cake.

5. Xbox 360 Chatpad

The Xbox 360 chatpad came with a headset. That was the only redeeming quality. I think I’ve used it maybe twice. I prefer typing messages on my laptop. But I guess it might be fun with Type Attacks. Luckily it only cost me $20.

4. Game Boy Light & Magnifier

The Game Boy Light & Magnifier.. come on, just look at that thing! The brightness was not the greatest…

3. Original Xbox Headset

Sure, I love talking on Xbox LIVE, but these old headsets broke so fast and so easily. Snap!

2. Wii Zapper

$20 of my money zapped away for an accessory I never even used after opening it. I probably should get around to trying Link’s Crossbow Training game..

1. Samba De Amigo Maracas

Best Buy had a great deal when Samba De Amigo was released on the Wii. Buy the game, get the maracas for $5. They should have been free considering how terrible they just are. Game works much better using two Wiimotes. Ay dios mio.
