My Top 10 Movies of 2008
2008 is drawing to a close, and it’s time for another year of my favorite top 10 movies that were released this year. Just to let you know, my favorite genres are: scary/horror, thriller, anime, drama, and action. I don’t really watch many comedy or romance films, so that’s why there won’t be many on the list.
While I have not seen every movie that interested me this year (as there are a few in theaters right now that seem really appealing), I highly doubt it will change my top 10 list of 2008. If in fact they do, I’ll be sure to update this article.
Website Spotlight: Beat My Price
Just came across this site a few days ago.
It’s a site that compares prices – and finds the cheapest place that the item sells for.
Just try it out right here.
I have a feeling I’ll be using it quite often : )
Song of the Week [#27]
This week’s song is a mix of ABBA Cover’s. Works well with Mamma Mia, out now on DVD.

Video Game Spotlight: Party Animals
Looking for a cheap family-friendly multiplayer game? Viva Pinata Party Animals is your answer! Featuring over 50 mini games, as well as a racing mode (which is similar to Mario Kart) this game is a blast to play with friends, and even online with up to 4 people!
I purchased this game last week, and I am really enjoying the game. The graphics are really vibrant and colorful, and the variety of games are cool. Some of the mini-games are a bit boring, but overall, it’s a worthy purchase.
It’s only $7 on Amazon.com, so get shopping! : )
Happy Hanukkah!
Last night was the second night of Hanukkah (also spelled Chanukah and several other ways, lol).
It’s a day where people of the Jewish faith light a menorah, aka a candelabra, to remind us of the miracle: the miracle that the one small kosher jar of oil was found and lasted for 8 days and nights.
It’s a custom to eat latkes (potato pancakes) and sufganiot (jelly doughnuts). People also spin the dreidel (a little spin top with letters on it).
Happy Hanukkah! ^_^
Quote of the Week [#38]
“The past is finished. There is nothing to be gained by going over it. Whatever it gave us in the experiences it brought us was something we had to know.”
